Gender pay gap rules in detail

Based on the Danish Equal Pay Act, companies with 35 employees or more and at least 10 employees of each gender performing similar functions must prepare an annual pay statistics report. The statistics report must be presented to the employees via the works council. If there is no works council, the employer must ensure that the report be presented to the employees in another way. Non-compliance with the reporting requirement can lead to criminal fines.
