Gender pay gap rules in detail
Employers (a reference group) designated by the Central Statistical Office (the ‘Office’) are required to report salary details (including gender) to the Office annually for general statistical purposes. The Office does not specifically focus on gender pay differences but may draw conclusions about the gender pay gap from the data it receives.
The deadline for filing the report is 30 January of the year following the subject year.
There are no civil or criminal sanctions in relation to this.
