Gender pay gap rules in detail

    There is no specific reporting obligation in relation to gender pay differences.

    Employers with over 50 employees are required to report the salary details (including gender) to the Central Statistical Office on a regular basis for general statistical purposes. The Central Statistical Office does not specifically focus on gender pay differences but may draw conclusions about the gender pay gap from the data it receives.

    There are no civil or criminal sanctions in relation to this.
