    Gender pay gap rules in detail

    There is no specific reporting obligation in relation to gender pay differences.

    Employers are required to maintain registers which provide specified details such as remuneration and the nature of work. The labour authorities are empowered to inspect to determine if the employer is in breach of the Equal Remuneration Act,1976.
