Gender pay gap rules in detail
There is no specific reporting obligation in relation to gender pay differences.
However, the employer must to inform and consult the staff delegates and the equality delegate on the structure and likely evolution of employment within the company and any measures envisaged. In particular, it must provide them with gender-disaggregated statistics on recruitment, promotion, transfers, dismissals, remuneration and training every six months.
The equality delegate then has the power to refer any complaint or observation concerning equal treatment to the Labour Inspectorate.
