Gender pay gap rules in detail
There are no statutory gender pay gap reporting obligations, nor are there any legislative proposals to this effect in the pipeline.
However, employers are required to make general quarterly reports to the National Register of Work Entities (‘Registro Nacional de Entidades de Trabajo’) indicating among other information the number of male and female employees and the average salaries they earn.
