National minimum wage in detail

The minimum wage in Chile is currently per month CLP 301,000 (EUR 402.08) and it applies to employees between 18 and 65. The minimum wage is set annually by law, on the sole initiative of the Chilean President. The basic wage paid to employees must not be lower than the monthly minimum wage. For employees under 18 and over 65, the minimum wage CLP 224,704 (EUR 300.16).
