National minimum wage in detail

Since 1 January 2019, the statutory minimum monthly wage has been EUR 2,071.10 gross for unskilled employees over the age of 18 and EUR 2,485.32 gross for skilled employees over the age of 18. Every two years, the Government considers whether to increase the minimum wage based on changes in the economy. Separately, the social minimum wage is automatically re-adjusted when the cost of living index has altered by more 2.5% since the last adjustment.
